Yadav Prasad Joshi received Ph.D. in Social Medicine from Sungkyunkwan University of the Republic of Korea. He is an epidemiologist. He is also a lecturer in Asian College of Advance StudiesSatdobato, Lalitpur, Nepal (affiliated to Purbanchal University Nepal). He is SNRN steering committee member in International Society for Environmental Epidemiology and Board Member in the Journal of Infections in Developing Countries Italy.He has gained more than ten years’ experiences in academic and developmental research sectors.

He is broadly interested in environmental health exposure and air pollution. He has been providing expertise as a freelance consultant in the government of Nepal. He is an associate author of a WHO book ‘climate change and health in the Western Pacific region: synthesis of evidence, profiles of selected countries and policy direction’. As an expert in environmental health, Dr Joshi has been working in ‘climate change and health reference book and training manuals’WHO funded a project of NHTC, MoH, Government of Nepal. He also works on infectious diseases, NCDs, WASH, nutrition, and disaster projects.
