Keshab Deuba is an affiliated researcher at the Global and Sexual Health (GloSH) research group at Department of Public Health Sciences in Karolinska Institutet Stockholm where he also received his PhD and MMSc in Public Health Epidemiology degree. He has received several awards, including the research fellowship from Göran Sterky Foundation, International AIDS Society, research apprenticeship from Netherlands Development Organization, and 2015/2016 scholarship to attend the Swedish Research School for Global Health.

The current focus of his work includes the analysis of burden of HIV, its associated factors and the evaluation of effectiveness of targeted interventions among key populations, and assessment of psychosocial health problems and its consequences among sexual minorities in Nepal. He is a member of Social Research Advisory Group of Asia Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health (APCOM) which provides informed and expert advice to the organization and its constituents on concerning social research on HIV and other sexual health matters pertaining to MSM/TG in the Asia-Pacific region.
