Introduction
Public Health and Environment Research Centre (PERC) aims to enhance human health and wellbeing by generating knowledge through high quality translational research [1] in the field of public health and environment. PERC strives to achieve two goals: to generate knowledge through excellent research and to translate knowledge into practice through strategic partnership.Translational research refers to translating research into practice; ie, ensuring that research knowledge actually reach the populations for whom they are intended and are implemented correctly.
