TB Research: Data Cleaning and Validation Workshop

Ms. Runa Tandukar, a Research Coordinator at PERC, delivered an insightful presentation at the Everest Hotel in Kathmandu, focusing on the rigorous processes employed to clean and validate the data collected for the Tuberculosis Patient Cost Survey.
The presentation highlighted methods used to address unclear or ambiguous responses in the data. These responses were clarified in collaboration with field supervisors, ensuring transparency and accuracy through thorough documentation.
This workshop was a collaborative effort organized by the National Tuberculosis Control Centre, Ministry of Health and Population, WHO, Save the Children, and the PERC team.
