Insights on TB Epidemiology by NTCC Director

Dr. Prajwal Shrestha, Director of the National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTCC), Ministry of Health and Population, delivered an enlightening address during the opening ceremony of a training program and several progress meetings organized by PERC and its partners.
In his talk, Dr. Shrestha provided a comprehensive overview of the tuberculosis (TB) situation in Nepal, discussing its epidemiology, the significance of the TB Patient Cost Survey, and its potential programmatic and policy implications. He also expressed gratitude to the PERC team and partners for their successful development of survey-related documents and their efforts in organizing training sessions to enhance the capacity of field researchers.
