Collaborative Monitoring Visit for Tuberculosis Patient Cost Survey

A joint monitoring visit was conducted by the technical team from PERC, Save the Children, National Tuberculosis Control Centre (NTCC), and the senior government health official, the Additional Health Secretary from the Ministry of Health and Population, to oversee the ongoing fieldwork for the Tuberculosis Patient Cost Survey.
The visit aimed to evaluate the progress of the fieldwork and ensure adherence to the approved protocol. The monitoring team observed interview processes, engaged in discussions with field enumerators to understand their experiences, and identified facilitators and challenges in recruiting study participants and conducting interviews. These efforts were undertaken to ensure that the study objectives were met effectively and in alignment with the prescribed guidelines.
