Bharti Thapa is a transgender woman with more than nine years of experience advocating for the rights, well-being, and respect of LGBTQIA+ individuals. During her time with BDS Nepal, she has played an active role in promoting awareness, offering support, and working toward equal rights for sexual and gender minority communities.

At PERC, Bharti is currently working as peer advocate under SAATHI program in Makwanpur district. In her free time, Bharti enjoys spending time with friends and exploring new places.
