Hema Yadav is a transgender woman and is community-based activist from Sarlahi. She has extensive grassroots experience in advocating for the rights of the LGBTIQA+ community. As a Rainbow Youth Leader, She received comprehensive training from Blue Diamond Society and possess in-depth knowledge of LGBTIQ+ rights and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), including Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). She regularly facilitates the awareness sessions and training focused on SRHR and inclusion and is passionately committed to advocating for a dignified life for LGBTIQA+ community and continues her activism with unwavering dedication.

At PERC, Ms. Yadav is currently working as a peer advocate under SAATHI program in Dhanusa district.
