Mamta Bhat is a transgender woman with more than fifteen years of experience of advocating for the rights, well-being, and respect of LGBTQIA+ individuals. During her time with BDS Nepal, she has played an active role in promoting awareness, offering support, and working toward equal rights for sexual and gender minority communities.

At PERC, Mamta is currently working as peer advocate under SAATHI program in Parsa district.
