Ms. Rita Upreti, originally from Kavrepalanchok, identify herself as a bisexual woman and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Social Work. She has over two years of experience advocating for SRHR and CSE, and currently serves as a Rainbow Youth Leader at Blue Diamond Society. She is a former mental health researcher at Save the Children Nepal and actively participates in youth forums at all levels and is continuously advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights.

At PERC, Ms. Upreti is currently working as peer advocate under SAATHI program in Kathmandu district. Outside of her work, Ms. Upreti love trying new foods and traveling to new places.
