Sanu Shrestha

Research Specialist

Mrs. Sanu Shrestha holds a Master’s degree in Health Services and Public Health Research from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK (2012). As a Research Specialist at PERC, she is responsible for implementing, supporting, and reporting project activities related to mental health, gender-based violence, and tuberculosis. Her work includes conducting thorough literature reviews, designing research, and managing data quality, analysis, and interpretation.

Mrs. Shrestha actively shares research findings with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure final report accuracy. She provides guidance and mentorship to team members, monitors project progress, and works closely with research coordinators to develop and refine project tools and guidelines. Additionally, she conducts training sessions on qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to uphold research standards within the team.

Before joining PERC, she worked in academia and the development sector as a lecturer and Program Manager for the Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis Management Program funded by the Global Fund. She has extensive experience collaborating with government agencies, international organizations, communities, and partners to ensure effective program planning, monitoring, and implementation of planned project activities.
