Strengthening Health Information Systems: K2A Lab

PERC and Cloud Tech have jointly established a Knowledge-to-Action (K2A) Lab to support public and international development organizations in building and strengthening health information systems by providing specialized technical expertise. The PERC team brings extensive experience in developing and implementing information systems using open-source platforms such as DHIS2, while Cloud Tech contributes expertise in IT, programming, and software development. The K2A Lab is a collaborative effort to combine health and IT expertise, creating a synergy to assist key stakeholders in developing and deploying information systems that improve the recording and reporting of routine health facility data. By enabling real-time data generation, the lab supports continuous progress monitoring and encourages the use of routine health facility data to evaluate ongoing programs and interventions. Additionally, the K2A Lab generates evidence to inform and update existing policies and programs, ultimately strengthening health information systems for improved public health outcomes.
