Leveraging DHIS2 Tracker for Breakthroughs in Public Health Research: A Pioneering Approach to HIV and TB Surveillance

Dr. Keshab Deuba, Senior Health Advisor at PERC, delivered a compelling presentation at the 2024 DHIS2 Annual Conference held in Oslo, Norway, from June 10–13. He spoke during the session “Integrated Analysis/Triangulation,” which explored the transformative potential of integrated analysis and data triangulation in tackling complex health challenges. The session showcased a diverse range of examples, including mapping zero-dose children and enhancing malaria strategies through DHIS2 integration. Presenters highlighted how triangulation approaches provide a comprehensive understanding of health dynamics and enable evidence-based interventions. Dr. Deuba's presentation focused on the innovative use of DHIS2 Tracker in advancing HIV and TB surveillance research, particularly in resource-constrained settings. He demonstrated how routine health facility data can be harnessed to drive informed responses and support breakthrough public health outcomes.
